Hi Friends, This is a photo from my recent trip to the USS Massachusetts battleship museum. I operated the World War II radio equipment aboard the ship, making 202 contacts with amateur radio operators in 35 states and 16 countries. It was the peak experience of my 5-year obsession with W.W.II US Navy radio operations. This hobby of mine is an answer to a couple of questions. What interesting historical activity can I get involved with when I am too old to chase oxen around like I do at my current job? What if I had been 18 in 1942 instead of 1980?"
