  TRC-77 and GRC-109 Receiver (for Saigon Hilda one ways). The ME-61 Field Strength meter is absolutely indispensable for portable ops. The frog and the mouse are optional.
  A little loading on the AT-1011 comes in handy. Just tap and listen on the receiver for max noise.
  Before GPS:You had to be careful of the Navigators Brief Case, it usually had two extra lead fish inside for the trailing wire antennas --- no one wanted to help pickup the case during crew baggage drills.
